In the Preparedness Community, social media has a love-hate relationship. There are many who believe that social media makes it easier for Big Brother to create a profile on you and track your online activity. I have said in the past, and I still believe this, that the only way to not be “tracked” is to not be online at all! If you get online, regardless of which websites you visit, and they want to track you, they can!
The other side of this is that many great articles and information are shared on social media. Of course, you can always visit Prepper Website and know that you are going to get quality articles daily. But if you can’t get your “Preparedness” fill, social media offers a ton of information for you to research and read.
The video below shows you how to add interest pages to your Facebook page so that you can keep up with your favorite Prepper/Survival/Homesteading Websites. I am also sharing this link, of over 40+ Prepared Bloggers, that is a built-in list that you can immediately “LIKE” and start getting great content!
Checkout the video below and let me know what you think.
P.S. – There are still some OPSEC things you should consider when on Facebook! You can check out the infographic on the post, OPSEC:Privacy and Security on Facebook, for some ideas.
